D'Arsonval High Frequency Machine is a portable professional skin care device used to promote youthful looking skin and treat skin conditions like acne. This machine is more powerful than traditional hand-held devices but is still portable enough to move from room to room. As is true with hand-held high frequency instruments, treatment using this device is totally painless. The device comes with four electrodes to treat both face and body. Each electrode has its individual usage. How Does High Frequency Skin Treatment Work? With high frequency skin treatment, a chemical reaction causes the emission of ozone into the air. Shipped fast, construction quality is good, the only complaint I have is that the electrodes seem have more of an orange light than violet or purple. Makes a lot of Ozone, tingles my scalp and you can almost hear my nipples pop when I touch the tip to them...

Directions
1. Insert the chosen glass electrode into the high frequency machine; gently push in the electrode and it should just snap in to place. 

2. Turn the high frequency machine down to a zero level and turn it on. (For esthetician - Wrap the cord around your arm once to keep the cord from dragging across the client's skin). 

3. Hold the handle of the high frequency electrode in the hand that you normally work with and make contact with the electrode and your finger before placing it on to your skin (or the client's skin). 

4. Place the electrode on your skin (or the client's skin) and remove your finger. 

5. Increase the intensity to a comfortable setting and move the electrode in small circles around the skin for a maximum of five minutes. 

6. Place your finger back on the electrode and remove it from your skin (or the client's skin). 

7. Turn off the high frequency machine and sterilize the electrode after each use.

Great product, great packaging, great price. I have already recommended this to a friend. I love the rake attachment for hair.

Received the box very fast and everything was in perfect condition. This unit did have the US style plug ends which I needed.

Like I said, only was able to use once so far so can't say if this works to tighten skin or rid wrinkles yet but I can say this...I used the little skinny wand to zap a zit that I literally had on my chin for a month. I still had oil on my face after using all the other wants for a while on my face and when I used the skinny glass tube to zap the zit, it hurt and burned a lot. I removed the oil off my face and redid it and although you can feel the heat from it, it was not painful and guess what..the zit was almost gone the next day and completely gone in 2 days! better and faster than using Retin A for a week and dealing with all the redness and peeling you get from that!

I will try to update my review on the wrinkles and tightening effects. Hope it works for that! It would truly be a miracle.

I enjoy this product but definitely needs tohave better instructions included. I had to research on internet and watch tons of youtube videos to figure out process. After that I used once a week and have seen results thus far.

(53 years old - Female) Been using this product since last November (2013) and I have to say that I am very pleased with it, overall. It came to me well boxed, with protective foam padding that holds all of the glass attachments. Go ahead and trash the instructions...they are useless and laughable. Lots of info online about how to use this and get the best benefits.

I use mine with Pond's Rejuveness cream, but you can use many other products, as other reviewers have pointed out.

Wasn't expecting miracles with this, but I can honestly say that my skin looks (and feels) fresher and healthier, and my pores are shrinking, which is a very nice thing to happen. I get a little rosy glow just after I use it, so the real difference is seen the next day; for me, anyway. The lines in my forehead have diminished greatly, and are continuing to do so. My crow's feet and dark circles (hereditary!) are on their way out too.

I usually work on one area of my face at a time, giving each area about 3 or 4 minutes, and going back to zap the deeper lines when I'm finished. It's actually very relaxing, and can be done watching TV, without much thought or effort.

It doesn't hurt when you use it. Just start off with the lowest setting and work your way up. Especially if you use the "sparkle" technique for deeper lines. That can be a little "ouchie" if you zap yourself with a high setting, so definitely start low with that.

You're going to get out of it what you put into it, make no mistake. Use it every day, and you'll see results. Use it once in awhile when you think of it, and you won't see results.

All in all, it's a really nice at home skin treatment that makes me feel pampered. No regrets with this purchase at all.

Love this product. I am 53 years old and had some facial sagging.. Within two weeks I have seen improvement. I use it nightly while watching t.v. so it doesn't even interrupt my routine.

Since our student estheticians used one on me, I've been looking for an at home hf machine. This one may not be as advanced or have the same gas as the one I'm used to, but it works perfectly! I'm amazed at how quickly my acne lesions are healing. It is on the loud side, though. Nothing to worry about. Just loud humming.
One thing I noticed is the instruction booklet appears to be poorly translated into English. The quality of the booklet doesn't reflect the quality of the product! It came packaged as pictured with all pieces fully intact. The nodes are easy to change, too. Perfect solution for home facials.

The one thing I will say about Dermawand is... they don't do business very honestly. They had an offer to make payments over several months. The next thing I know there is a charge of $275.40 taken out of my bank account. When I tried to reach the company I didn't get anywhere. I sure with i had gone through Amazon they have never let me down.

I've been using the Dermawand for little over a month now and I am pleased with the results.

First off...the lifting...I think I was realistic in my expectations. I had read up on radio frequency and knew that even when the treatment were given by professionals that the initial results were only temporary and that permanent results didn't usually occur until the 3rd month and sometimes even longer and sometimes required extra treatments so I wasn't expecting some immediate miracle cure and suddenly look like I was in my 20's again upon my first few uses.

In fact I didn't think I was seeing any lifting at all after the first month until I weighed...I had lost 7 pounds and there was no change in my face...and for me that is unusual. I purposely put on weight ( about 10 pounds in the last 7 years) after I reached my forties just so I would look younger in the face. I never take it off because my face sags so badly. The weight I lost was due to a busy schedule but after seeing that my face isn't sagging after the loss I don't feel the need to put it back on...very pleased with the results. Need to add that I use it twice a day for almost an hour on the face and the neck...highest setting except for right under the eyes which I go no higher with than a 4.

Even if the lifting didn't work the dermawand is worth the price just for what it did for my skin...and this was an immediate result. A few years ago my skin lost it's youthful glow due to entering peri-menopause. For a while Oil of Olay carried a product (their foam) that gave me back that glow but they soon phased it out and it's replacement cream didn't give me the same results...the dermawand did. I used it for the first time the day before my husband and I went out for dinner and was shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw how good my skin looked...and yes it was just after one use and I wasn't expecting anything at that point...my youthful glow was back.

I had looked at other similar products...some have extra wands and attachments...I prefer the simplicity of this one...just plug it in and start gliding it over your face. The one drawback was the price of the pre-face treatment(hence the 4 rather than the 5 because I really liked the stuff but the bottle isn't that big and it's $30)...I use pure aloe vera gel instead. It's actually the main ingredient in their pre-face treatment anyway. The pure stuff is a little thicker and I make sure to wash it off after I'm through since I use sunblock and it does not mix well with it. Dermawand is a great product at least for me. When I wear this one out I intend to buy another.



I've spent a lot of money at medi-spas getting laser light treatments and peels and facials and this dermawand works better than all of it put together. I use it ONLY on the max setting, for about 30 minutes once a day. I use it extensive my around the eyes on max setting with no problems, only great improvement! I've been using it for about 3 months like this and I swear, it's taken off 5-10 years!

The first two times I used this, on the lowest setting, there was some tingling and a shock but no redness. The next time, I turned it up just above the lowest setting and it burned my face. It's like a severe sunburn, red, peeling, very sore and tight feeling. After 3 days it's finally healing. Do not use this without extreme caution.

This is a very good device especially for the price it works as well as the one I received treatments from the cosmetology school . I have recommended to family and friends. Thanks!

This product seems to be less than its' competitors. Actual demonstration to see online might have swayed my decision to purchase.

First I commend the customer service people for getting back with me so quickly. They wrote several times and worked out my problem. I like the unit and it seems to be doing a good job on making my hair follicles strong. I bought it because my hair was getting thinner, but this makes it strong again. I don't know about lightening age spots yet. I guess that will have to give a little time too. Overall, happy.
